How would employees enter a Time-off Request but don't include the weekends?

Employees must enter multiple time-off request so their time-off request won't include the weekends.

Example: If I would like to take a 2 week vacation and the company I work for is only opened Monday thru Friday. I would create a time-off request for one week for Monday thru Friday and then create another time-off request for one week for Monday thru Friday for the following week.
